  Customer Focus
  • Understand and anticipate what our customers need, and most importantly, deliver what they truly value.

  • Quote what the customer needs; option what they want.

  • We realize that our customers have a choice; repeat business is a must.

  • Every employee is in Sales. You represent the company at all times.

  • Nercon’s customers are the end users. A relationship with the end user is critical for effective communication and success of projects.

  Excellence and Accountability
  • Take personal ownership for ensuring that we strive for excellence in all aspects of our daily responsibilities.

  • As our products are viewed, so are we viewed.

  • We’re like a pro sports team, not a kid’s recreational team.  Coaches’ role at every level of Nercon is to hire, develop, and cut smartly so we have stars in every position.

  • Work can be delegated, responsibility cannot.

  • We will question actions inconsistent with our Six Core Values.

  • Results matter:  work is about effectiveness not effort.  People are measured by quality and productivity while meeting deadlines.

  • We will treat all others the same way we want to be treated.

  Learning

  • Develop a spirit of inquiry and strive for ongoing growth and development.

  • While Nercon provides financial resources and coaching, individuals should manage their own career path.

  • Formalized company training plans for individual growth are rarely effective.  High performance people are generally self-improving through experience, observation, reading and discussion.

  • If we aren’t the expert in a particular area, we will seek outside consulting that will help us perform more efficiently and at a higher level.

  • Seek to understand Nercon’s strategy, market, customers and vendors.

  Teamwork
  • Work well with colleagues to maximize the productivity of teamwork.

  • Listen attentively, instead of reacting fast, so you can better understand. Communicate clearly and ask clarifying questions.

  • Demonstrate consistently strong performance so colleagues can rely upon you.

  • Share information openly and proactively. Share lessons learned, tips, tricks, and tools.

  • Everyone is different, so diverse styles are fine as long as the person embodies our Six Core Values.  However, there isn’t room for Brilliant Jerks because the cost to teamwork is too high.

  • Be responsible for “getting it done”, not necessarily “doing it”.

  Win/Win
  • Solutions must be mutually beneficial to our customers, employees and vendors.

  • Nercon is the expert at the very beginning of a project to the very end.

  • We will not engage in a product or service that benefits Nercon at the expense of our customer.  Nor will we provide products or services that benefit our customers at the expense of Nercon.

  • People think in terms of either/or: either you're nice or you're tough. Win-win requires that you be both. 

  • Customers, employees and vendors share equal responsibility in the success and failure of a project.
