2013 Second Annual Golf Outing with Nercon Eng. and Mfg., Inc
On Saturday September 14, 2013, Nercon Eng. and Mfg., Inc. hosted its 2nd annual golf outing which resulted in 22 employees and spouses participating in the scramble event. The golf outing is a new annual event that employees look forward to in order to enjoy some friendly competition and time away from the office.
The teams competed for the best drive and the winners, Brian Henshaw, Kevin Brunmeier, and Jason Gazzana, were determined by sudden death “putt-off” and crowned as the 2013 champions!
Team work is a skill that Nercon employees engage in on and off the job, and the golf outing is a great place to do that. As you may know, golf is usually a very individualized sport, but when playing a scramble it involves relying on other team members to get your team ahead. Nercon uses these same team principles at work to maximize productivity on a daily basis.
