Product Twist Conveyors
Nercon's Product Twist conveyors are designed to rotate packages to 90 or 180 degrees. The dual chain arrangement gently transitions (twists) the product while conveying it forward. The Product Twist Conveyor is normally used to rotate bags, bundles, cartons or bottles which cannot be turned by other methods. The twist conveyor is available in multiple chain widths.
90° Twist for Sterilizing, Testing & Coding
A common application is the use of a 90 degree unit to lay down hot filled bottles or containers on their side to sterilize the cap and then stand them back up. With the lay down Product Twist Unit, cap leak testing can also be accomplished. Another application is to invert packages for code dating or reading.
