Marketing Coordinator

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to plan and execute innovative campaigns for branding, product launches, lead generation, and employee recruitment and retention, for both Nercon and MCE business units.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Plans & Strategy
- Work cross-functionally with the Marketing Manager, Sales, HR, Engineering and external partners in the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that span digital and traditional channels.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize results using a comprehensive toolkit including CRM, Google Analytics, Marketing Automation, and ERP systems.
- Assist with the creation and tracking of the marketing budget.
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data. Combine with internal knowledge of Nercon differentiators to develop new strategies to advance brand equity.
Content Creation
- Collaborate with internal teams to assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for all marketing channels.
- Create content calendar for all marketing channels and monitor progress with the assistance of internal and external people resources.
- Design, schedule and launch email campaigns and other inbound/outbound digital marketing tactics using tools such as HubSpot.
- Implement dynamic social media strategy that creates excitement among potential customers and employees.
Digital Marketing
- Perform regular content and UX audits on Nercon and MCE websites, provide recommendations for improvement, and perform necessary updates using CMS platform.
- Partner with external digital marketing partner to execute strategic campaigns addressing each phase of the sales funnel.
- Review campaign metrics, determine appropriate paths forward, and present recommendations to key internal stakeholders including company leadership.
Trade Shows
- Assist with all aspects of trade show planning – including pre- and post-show campaigns and logistics, as well as customer interaction during the show.
- Perform ongoing analysis of MQLs and resulting SQLs generated by trade show booth visits.
Recruitment & Retention
- Help Marketing Manager and other company team members carry out recruitment and retention initiatives including, but not limited to, employee events, community engagement, and culture-building activities.
- Be a company culture champion, partnering with HR, generating excitement and enthusiasm through positive and uplifting words and actions that will help build a passion and pride among current and future employees.

- Seek continuing education to stay up to date on the latest marketing strategies and techniques that will help Nercon achieve its goals.
- Embrace all the potential of AI and gain an understanding of how it can be used to enhance marketing and business development strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Self-starter; able to work well without constant direction.
- A contagious positive energy that brings team members together.
- Digital marketing experience including inbound/outbound marketing, SEO, SEM, programmatic, and social media.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics
- Strong computer skills (Basic Experience with Photoshop & InDesign required).
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Premiere Pro would be helpful but not required. Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong editing skills are a must.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, and minimum 5 years job related experience.
TIME COMMITMENT:
Generally, an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday. Additional hours if needed to meet deadlines. Occasional travel to the Oconto, WI manufacturing plant (1-2) times per month) and trade shows when needed (up to 10% per year).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current driver's license with acceptable driving record as defined in Nercon Employee Handbook
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimal level of physical exertion including ability to lift 30 lbs. Required to sit, reach, operate office equipment, walk and stand.
