Electrical Field Service Technician

Travel. Troubleshoot. Make a Difference. 

Install, commission, and support conveyor and automation systems at customer facilities across North America. If you enjoy solving technical problems, working independently, and helping customers succeed, we'd like to talk with you. Based in Oconto or Neenah, Wisconsin, this hands-on role combines electrical troubleshooting, controls expertise, and customer interaction.

 

What You'll Do. 

  • Install, start up, troubleshoot, repair, and service conveyor and material handling systems at customer sites.
  • Diagnose electrical, controls, and mechanical issues to keep equipment running efficiently.
  • Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot wiring, sensors, motor controls, HMIs, VFDs, and PLCs.
  • Support equipment commissioning, testing, training, and customer acceptance.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Complete service reports and provide feedback that helps improve products and customer experience.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with industrial controls, PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), wiring, and machine troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field.
  • Strong customer communication skills.
  • Associate degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Field service, automation, packaging, or conveyor experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
